This could turn out to be a murder-suicide I suppose but for now it seems like something out of a Hollywood movie. A Billionaire pharmaceutical company owner and his wife (Barry and Honey Sherman) were murdered in their Toronto-area home. He was worth $3.2 billion. Surely he must have had some security?

Not sure if he was considered an evil pharma mogul or a good one (if they exist) but he and his wife did a lot of charitable work as well. The murders could be politically based too (they were Jewish and contributed a lot to Jewish agencies). The police up there have deemed the deaths to be 'suspicious'.

Let the speculation begin....

His company is Apotex, and per their website it appears that they make only generics. That would seem to make him one of the good guys, although any generic maker is probably tied up in some patent litigation most of the time. Or you could have somebody disgruntled because a friend or family member took one of the drugs and it did not turn out well.

Or it might not have anything to do with the pharmaceutical industry. There are an infinite number of motives that could be attributed to the murder of someone worth $3B. Did he have any kids? That might be a more logical start given the amount of money they'll get as a result of these deaths.
