Well we played maybe our worst offensive game of the whole season last year against you all and still won so take that for what its worth. :D :D :D :D

Khaleed Vaugn and Bryant McNeil did a fantastic job of getting after David Greene. It's understandable that he would have one of his worst offensive performances when he was being constantly harrassed. What kept UGA in control of that game was Clemson's poor special teams coverage and a few turn-overs, one of which was by a Georgia transfer who just dropped a perfect snap on our own 20 yard line. :mad:

All throughout the first half, ya'll brought linebacker blitz after linebacker blitz at Willie Simmons and he ate your lunch each time. He had no time to think in the pocket either, yet he managed to find the hot reciever. Somebody taught him well, how to read blitzes and where to find an open reciever. You can bet the same coach has been busy teaching Whitehurst the same.

Georgia was never in a position to have to throw the ball. They attempted to get their passing game going in the first half, but it never really got on track. Didn't matter anyway. We kept leaving ya'll in a position to run the ball and eat clock. In the second half we got a steady diet of Musa Smith combined with Shockley scrambling out of the pocket.

If we get similar pressure on the QB this year, I expect to see D.J. Shockley in the game early, as he is more elusive and would fair better without adequate pass protection.

It's no use argue with Georgia fans Sam. In case you haven't heard, the 2003 college football season has been called off. Every Division 1-A team got together and decided that the dawgs were just too tough this year and have awarded the national championship. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

As for me, I like the Tigers by 3. I think we move the ball better due to an improved O-line and seasoned skill players. I think better O-line play gives our recievers time to create mismatches on your new crop of linebackers as well as giving Whitehurst time to pick them apart. I think the only way your defense compensates is to blitz. I also think Whitehurst has developed his abilities at picking up the blitz enough to burn you with regularity.

Better expect our run game to be more effective as well. BTW, we work out of the "I" this year,.......as if your linebackers weren't already going to have their hands full covering our recievers.

We'll get ours, GDawgs. The question is, will Greene be able to keep up?
