They may correct themselves, but it won't be with a loser like Moore

Nope people are bashing it now and will continue
This election had nothing to do with conservatism or liberalism. It was a referendum on whether someone as lawless and indecent as Roy Moore should be a Senator.

Mitch now owes this to President Trump:

If Republican Senate doesn't get rid of the Filibuster Rule & go to a simple majority, which the Dems would do, they are just wasting time!

Thank you.

Wow. I was expecting Alabama to break my heart again. Some amazing results from the race

Shelby County - the Republican with only 55% of the vote. In Baldwin, over a third voted Democrat. Mobile went Dem by a stoopid large margin. Huntsville too. And Jefferson...70k vote margin.

---

Oh, and BTW....congrats on getting the Mazda/Toyota plant next month.

Would have anyway unless dougie screws it up.
Alabama spoke and gave their verdict on Roy Moore. Now he is history. Can't say as if anyone will miss him.
This election in the long run is a win for the Republicans. Roy Moore will not be a factor in the 2018 mid terms. The republicans have ridded themselves of an embarrassment. They need to rid themselves of one more embarrassment.

I agree. The Republican party did not need both Moore and Trump stumping in 2018. No matter how much some of the more heavy right wingers would convince themselves of it.

The reality is, people can only tolerate so much crazy at one time.

I mean, the GOP is not really in any danger of losing the senate even with a 1 vote margin. It would something catastrophic to change that. The concern for them is the House, and they could easily lose the House if people were forced to listen to Moore and Trump talk for a year straight.

I admit, as a Christian, I can only tolerate Moore's constant quoting of the bible so much. Today he managed to quote the book of psalms and an Alabama recount law in the same sentence. It's nauseating.
I wasn’t going to, nor will lose any sleep over this one.

A, it’s what? 18 months and Doogie is likely done?

B. I didn’t want Moore, done thought he was a lunatic for what? 20+ years now?

3. The guy I would have pulled for came in a distant third, so what’s a pretty girl to do?

Fact is, he got hammered by what I seem to think is/are more normal norms from a guy coming home from service/war and seeking a “mate” back when most were married off by 21 or so.

If he screwed up and grabbed that thang, then that’s on him and he’s paid I price for it. Trying to find a date in 1972 doesn’t bother me.

All that said, I’m still not sure who I woulda voted for in this one...

Two extremes, dunno who I despise more
