Penny made the deans list one semester while attending memphis state university.

Elliot committed early to Duke if I remember correctly, he didn't choose Tyreke over Elliot, he would've taken both in a heartbeat.

Tyreke was a borderline first team All American his freshman year.

Elliot played over 16 minutes a game for a team that had 3 current/future All Americans in his position(Gerald Henderson, Nolan Smith, and Kyle Singler) as a Freshman. Not bad if you ask me.
