Almost same here. Requested 4 for 109, got 4 in row D of 210. Wife and I both had the same reaction. To me its a good sign about what the crowd will be like.

I requested 3 in 109 and was put back in my usual seats in 212. Got 3 together, though. At least that spreads out some of the passionate fans to stir up the rest of the crowd if needed!
the schedule cleared....3 more. seating is definitely getting more limited
if you click on available seats in the upper deck, many of the sections are half full already.

i think that's way better than last week. and i think more students will show up this week. better time slot, better weather, after exams, semi final round. I think the end zone will be packed.

i'm sticking with my 20k+ prediction.
Ya'll are missing out. Should've been requesting 406. Best section for viewing a game in all of Bridgeforth stadium IMO.

Agreed. Most of the collar is already full. Many of the remaining 400 sections are half full, and it looks like 6 or 7 complete sections have been donated. Another section or two might be by the end.

My one worry about the students is getting them in at a decent time. If the tuition and meal plan drawings aren't until the 3rd quarter, they may not show up at the beginning of the game. Anyone wanna go through and round them up at 4? If the students can't show up after exams are done and they have a chance at winning a $3k scholarship (x2) or meal plan (x2)...wow. Unless their students finished with finals on Wednesday, I would expect many parents to give up a day with their kids and make them stay for the game...

if i remember correctly, the students were better (percentage-wise) and were there earlier than the rest of the crowd last week. someone correct me if i'm wrong about them getting there much earlier than usual, but the students were just awesome last week. it will be at least that good, and probably better. i wouldn't worry about them, this week we need to worry about ourselves (not anyone on this board, of course).
Wanted to give kudos to the ticket office for the "donation" program of tickets. It truly is a win-win, especially at this time of year.
Might be cool to see the administration make a small pivot and give away one tuition voucher and one meal punch plan 15 minutes BEFORE kickoff and then the second batch at the beginning of the 4th quarter. It would be a way to entice them to get to their seats before kickoff. I want SDSU coming out of their locker room to a large, rowdy crowd, let them know we mean business from the jump.
The biggest frustration has been how slow it takes to get people into the stadium, even for those who arrive 10-15 min early. It's not like they are patting people down and performing searches. Get those daggone students through the gates!!

the "trouble" gate, in my opinion, is the one between the student section and the endzone section. i tried that one once, for Villanova. i waited and waited and waited and waited and waited. it was a huge mistake. no idea why it's such a bottleneck issue. really should be fixable.

I agree with this suggestion
i'm going to give the students more credit.

i think they will show up at game time, and stay the whole game. at least 80-90% of them will.

it's not as cold. it's not a semi-meaningless regular season game. I think most understand this is the last home game of the year and it's for a chance to go play for another title. Many of them might want to make that trip themselves, so they'll be rooting for us to win.

i expect the students to post better than they have since the stadium first opened. Packed in the end zone. into the game. and staying the whole time.

and they'll rush the field if we win.
The ticket website issue is maddening. Constantly getting an "allow cookies" message, but they are already enabled.

I was able to reserve my 2 season tickets, but can't login to donate any others.
True...and many students don't have the means to make it to Frisco, so this might be their last chance to see a possible NC team.

issue occurs on IE as well.
Ticket sales looking strong, way way ahead of this time last week. My row last week was unsold until about Thursday and right now none are available, so looking good!
I'm bitter I have to miss this game, in person. It's my mother's 70th birthday. My wife and my father would kill me if I missed it. I'm sooooo ticked off at my late grandparents right now. Why did they have to have my mother during the FCS playoff season?
so...you're saying that you are bringing 3+ to the game with you? 03-wink
