I remember when there was talk of hiring Dannon Barto asfter winning Arena Bowl VI, it was said that he was not eligible due to not getting degree.

So, that's why Dannon Barto started Dannon Yogurt. I always wondered about that.

Probably 3 top 40 guys, with a good chance of signing the number one player. Tell me another coach that could do that at Memphis next year. He has enough contacts from his pro days to attract a great X's and 0's coach.

Good reasons for Bowen to encourage Coach Smith to bring him on as an assistant, with the intent to turn the team over to him in 2-3 years.

It has been said by multiple people I feel know that Penny will not take an assistant job. It is the whole cigar or nothing.

Yes, but he might do it with a guarantee that he would take over as head coach after 2 years as an Asst Coach. It would be a good way for him to get college coaching experience that he lacks.

Penny bleeds blue, but there is ZERO chance he will do 100% of the job for the laziest coach and staff in the country. If Penny respected Tubby he would help him recruit.
