Getting 2 into the CFP hurt the match ups for the regular bowls. Louisville vs Mississippi State particularly ticks me off. This state team is gutted on coaching and will be going to face a stable opponent. It doesn't matter that it's Louisville, it could be any school whose coaching staff remains whole. I despise this part of the annual coaching feeding frenzy and it makes me turn off those games. It's just another reason I believe there should be regulations penalizing schools that try to lure a coach away from any school who is still competing in a season.

Texas A&M and Mizzou are subject to this as well and by the end of the week Auburn may be. To me it is a disservice to the game, and to the kids who play it. And the only motivation is greed and it serves only as a reminder that the coaching profession as a whole is comprised of self centered personalities who act like whores.

At least Frost is finishing out his ride at UCF so I'll give him that. Mullen should have done the same at Miss State but he didn't. Heuple is leaving Missouri, and of course A&M will have to deal with Fisher running essentially Sumlins' schemes since there really isn't enough time to change everything prior to their bowl. Steele may be off to Tennessee before Auburn's bowl.

Then look at what happened to Bama when Kiffin left before the CFP. This year it may bite Clemson if Venables goes.

Something needs to be done about this.
Mizzou over Texas— Mizzou admin still angry at Texas for them meddling in their exit affairs and telling the entire conference to not schedule them. Mizzou ‘s hitting on all cylinder against crappy teams and Herman’s boys are a crappy team.

A&M over Wake Forest—2nd highest paid coach finds a way to win

N’western over Kentucky—gonna give NW the respect they deserve, plus UK has played up and down all year.

Louisville over Mississippi State—Doe Joe Moorehead have enough time to figure out his new team and beat last year’s Heisman? I don’t think so.

Michigan over Douth Carolina—revenge game. All Michigan has heard about South Carolina is the Clowney hit that set them back a half decade.

Auburn over UCF—UCF wants to prove the committee and the world wrong—that they belong in the playoffs. Gus wants to prove his new contract is not a fluke and keep them crazy *** Auburn fans off his back this offseason.

LSU over Notre Dame—Coach O is gonna give a speech that the South Bend fans won’t understand; they also won’t see that arse whooping coming either.

Georgia over Oklahoma—Georgia should score points. Can Georgia slow down this great sooner offense? I think they slow it down enough. Expect a packed rose ? bowl for the ages.

Alabama over Clemson—both seem about even. I’ll give Alabama the home field edge in New Orleans.

OU has a prolific offense, but play in a Big XII with little defense. Georgia will give Mayfield a nice taste of SEC defense.

TCU was unable to slow OU down at all after TCU shut them down in the second half of their first matchup

The great part in all of this is we’ll all get the answers to these questions shortly.
