Until I moved to Florida in the late Fall of 2012 I went to every home game but one. Now I am lucky if I can watch one televised game a year, the rest of the games I stream on ESPN radio using Ted's play by play to create an image in my mind of what is happening on the field. Some of you don't realize how lucky you are to be able to be in the stands watching the Monarchs play; especially in a brand new stadium.

Quite right. You should try to make it on over to a game at FAU or FIU some time. I went to a FAU vs. ODU game in Boca Raton a few years ago and it was a great time.

When I lived in Ft Myers I did drive across the state and watched TH play his last game as a Monarch against FAU. I even saw a few familiar faces and a couple of longtime friends at the game. Now that I live in Sarasota the drive is twice as long but I still hope to make it over for a game in the near future.

I hear you guys. My drive to the games typically is around 10 Hours and that unfortunately means i can only afford to take my family for the games twice or may be thrice if we were able to budget for a plane ride. I seriously envy Alum and fans living in HR or even DC because they get to be at the game with a short drive. I Can't imagine myself or any working class person driving or spending money on air tickets twice or thrice if i were living in South Florida or pan handle. Its just not realistic and i feel your pain. Savor the opportunity to watch the game on a UHD TV and call it a day 04-cheers

Looked like the same spot was open !!

They were there with the howitzer this morning, seemingly assessing the situation.
What's the word on the Priority Automotive Club? Is it done yet? Will it be done in time for the ECU game?

Is it just me or does it seem like they're upset people have grievances about the stadium? Glad to see they're responding to the feedback and looking forward to Saturday immensely!

It's just you.

Good article. Hope they fixed the gap between the upper deck and ribbon scoreboard so stuff can't fall through.
Despite what Harry says, the game is Saturday, not Friday02-13-banana

Haha a computer virus on opening night? I got a good chuckle at that as a IT person.

I have it from a fairly good source, that the DJ hooked up something wrong, or did something that blew out about 6 of the speakers...

Ha. My BS detector lit up on that one. Our company works with all of the major Point of Sale companies out there and I have never come across a virus shutting down registers. PCI compliance protocols make it pretty tough to get a random virus on the systems. Sounds like they had a server or network issue and just blamed it on a virus.

A network switch probably failed.

When I lived in Chesapeake and the city built new high schools (such as Hickory, Grassfields, or even rebuilds like Oscar Smith) there were portable classrooms from day 1. They cheaped their a$$e$ out and never built to current capacity much less future capacity. Short sighted idiots.

In fairness (and my facetious nature aside), they are for the NEZ.

This will only help bring on the NEZ.

TRUE FACTS! My senior year in high school I never had a class inside the school building at GB.
