2007 Tribe alum, and former track and field athlete, Michelle Wolf, getting a lot of recognition with her stand up comedy special that aired on HBO this past Saturday night. Looks like she's poised to become another Tribe comedy celeb. Interesting career path to say the least.

Huh. Didnt know she was a Tribe alum, but nice continuation of a line of comics out of the burg. Speaks to the schools niche in the world of quirky smart kids. She's had some great segments on the new Daily Show.
Big night for Michelle on Saturday hosting the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
Certainly an opportunity for her to inject some timely humor into her alma mater and Comey and Trump. Will be interesting if she goes there.

Between Wolf & Comey, William & Mary is becoming the laughing stock (not in a good way) of American universities.
Wolf hit all the notes she wanted for her target audience. Most of them weren't in attendance. From reviews I've read, it sounds like the main difference between Michelle Wolf and the last couple of hosts is that she's less famous and an easier target for post-dinner pearl clutching.
This is new low point. For those who fail to see it; that’s yiour problem.

Agreed. What a pile of elitist douchebaggery we exhibit these days. I keep praying no one mentions where either of these two received their degrees when they are on air.
Our students looking no better this week for clapping like a bunch of circus seals as a fired, appointed, disgraced former head of FBI publicly accuses the sitting, publicly elected President of the U.S as morally unfit to actually be the President on natonal TV, exercising his superior opinion over 62 million voters.

Counterpoint: Wolf was great, Comey is good, W&M should put them on the front page of the website, but leave them out of the alumni magazine.
Food for thought: William and Mary is now reliant upon her donor base. Don't tick off the majority of your donors.

Last I checked, W&M is still a public institution. Pandering to a political base seems antithetical to the goals of classical liberal arts education.
Exactly, pandering to the left (a minority of the donor base) is both antithetical and bad business.
