From the link:

“My evaluation of the AD is shared with the ULAA Personnel Committee each year as part of that committee's annual review,” Wise wrote in response to an interview request, “and reflects my personal observations as the Faculty Athletics Representative.”
“Dr. Postel signed off on the 2015 review, written by Elaine Wise as a matter of protocol," university spokesman John Karman wrote. “He was not Mr. Jurich’s supervisor during that period, nor was Dr. Postel his supervisor for any of the evaluations.”

So Posthole fires Jurich partly for not providing an annual written evaluation of each coach yet his lawyer discounts written evaluations of TJ that Posthole himself signed.
Postel signed the evaluation as just protocol? They didn’t really mean anything?
No krux, I’m no conspiracy theorist.

I fail to see how Postel signing off on Jurich's eval proves Jurich wrote his. Let's not forget there were multiple scandals on his watch and he kept around one coach that was recently let go for player abuse. It's time to move on. He's not who we thought he was. Root for the school not the AD.

I respect your view. I not only root for UofL I give them money. The coach Vince hired appears to be solid but I do wish he could have hired a female.
I have a different view of TJ and the current BOT, and interim President.
I’m sure more information will come out. Sunlight is the best medicine.
Go Cards!
Looks like UT AD offered job but UT President did not approve, due to $5 million buy out. UT is one big dumpster fire right now. 07-coffee3

You do nothing but drop butt hurt conspiracy theories anymore. He's definitely not reading too much into your emotions.

Howard even wondered on R&R why roger became a lead sponsor for uk. Bevin + BoT at UofL + Pappa and his $ friends in ky.
City + Yum Centre

It took all of them to bring down the one person who put the University of Louisville First.

**** them and Thank You Tom Jurich. My only wish is that you don't hold that "ilk" against those of us who know what you allowed us to become. You saw the vision if we worked together. Thank you!

It's not your fault about out State Government and their relegation motives.
Meanwhile the saga continues! Wow, what a hot mess the Vols have gotten themselves into. The Pack signs their coach to a new contract. Who's next for the Vols? Who else gets to turn them down? They maybe back to Jones & Schiano.

I fully expect some representative from Tennessee to be contacting me by Sunday. At this point my rec league, B team and JV resume has to be looking good to them.

Shall we add your name to the list of candidates to have turned down the Vols? Maybe they'll have to bring Fulmer out of retirement.

I'd gladly relinquish that title if they promise to keep Doeren.

Just so I understand the evolution of this thread: Every coach on the planet is a potential Louisville coach and every time they sign a contract with someone other than Louisville it is a loss for Louisville? Sounds like the Pack will have to give up their "red-haired-step-child" title too!
Sumlin is reportedly by ESPN now on deck.

I'm not exactly sure how you came up with that since the Brohm's are from Louisville & have ties to the UofL as players & coaches. Jeff Brohm QBed at UofL while his brother was on the team & Brian Brohm followed him awhile later at QB. It's not a stretch to see Jeff as the coach to follow Petrino.

Oh & congrats, I think, on keeping your coach.

Yeah. I'd release a statement saying "While honored to be considered I would at this time prefer to spend my fall deer hunting and watching Clemson play than make millions coaching the landfill fire that is Tennessee."

My fault. I forgot the 05-stirthepot guy.
The Volunteers don't have new coach yet... but they've appointed a new athletic director.

Yeah, the Brohms are commonly referred to as "The First Family of Louisville Football". Jay Gruden also played QB here so it's not as much of a stretch for us when he or Jon's name gets tossed around either.
Was over on VOLS scout site this morning and seems some poster like Les Miles as HC with Tee Martin as OC and bringing in Kevin Steele to be DC. That wouldn’t be a bad hire IMO for this gives Martin who most likely ends up at some point the HC time to garner some SEC coaching experience.
