Well half time. So far so good.

Auburn 10
Alabama 7

W.D.E.!
So far so bad. Alabama needs to step it up. Play-calling and execution are lacking. A few fortunate plays away from trailing 21-0.

Yep, the one who executes with consistency in the 2nd half will likely be the winner. I do think athletically they are more closely matched than usual.

Agreed. While they're matched, I think Auburn's system allows players to showcase more of it. Alabama's playcalling will have to change to allow Alabama to excel.
That's a wrap. Alabama deserved to lose this game.
Congratulations Auburn Fans!

Couple of turning points but the two bad snaps pretty much did it. I hope you guys make the CFP.

I don't. We always under prepare and underplay for at least one game a season. If missing out is what gets Nick to wake TF up and realize he needs to come out firing every game, then so be it. The one thing I miss about Lane Kiffin, is he called plays like we need to score every drive.

No offense, but losing to Auburn is unforgivable, I don't care what else you've accomplished. Win the state first. Can't do that...

Maybe Lane should stay at FAU until Saban retires and then roll in to T-Town.
I thought it was a really good game.

It shook out about like most of the prognosticators thought.

Our defense is always our strength and with it dinged up there wasn't a lot of hope for the offense pulling it through.

Auburn's offense played really well and kept the D on the field to chew them up.

The final score is about what you'd expect for how the two offenses and defenses were going into the game.

All snide comments aside, Congratulations to Auburn.

Thanks. I just hope the conference doesn't get jobbed by the networks. I don't see much possibility of that if Clemson loses again. But if the networks have the opportunity to have Oklahoma, a Big 10 school, and a Southeastern school in the mix and have an excuse to put USC in they might do it, especially if Clemson is the Southeastern representative. They would love to have the ability to use the SEC snub to hype the games in controversy.

It is why I really want to see us find away to get rid of committee influence and let the kids win it on the field.

It will all now be spun to give the network (ESPN) their soap opera for January.
Everything was great about creating a playoff system, except creating a committee to decide the final four. I trusted the computers more than this group of supposed experts. They will make a mess out of it I am sure. An eight team playoff would have made this an unnecessary conversation. Again, play top eight seeded teams on New Years Day and then you have a deserving final four. Semis and final done next two weeks.
So yeah, apparently the sun did come up today.

The game was certainly frustrating and Auburn certainly exposed some weaknesses.

I have no explanation for the two fumbled snaps. We got a huge break with the 12 men on the field call and proceeded to blow the opportunity by not even throwing the ball across the sticks. Third down conversions haunted us once again at that.

Congratulations to Auburn. I suspect y'all will be in the top 4 this week. One more win and you're in.
