This season has been a blur.
Anyone want to provide the Cliff Notes on how / why we lost the first game with UCF this year? I know we played a pretty bad game, but did we beat ourselves or did they just out play us?
5 turnovers (4 in the red zone, 2 of them inside the UCF 10 yard line)
Offense never clicked. Riley had 3 ints, our run game was non existent, and Miller had 38 yards.
It was raining, that’s all you need to know

Hurt starters and players without much playing time on the field vs a really good team
It doesn't happen often, but I remember watching and thinking the Tigers were being outcoached.
Riley was under constant pressure from the defensive line and UCF is faster, bigger and more athletic than us as a team.
We couldn't run the ball and couldn't stop the run...

That is the bottom line... Whipped up front on both sides of the ball
They were going to score on us, but the 5 turnovers stopped 5 possible scoring drives for us that could have kept it pretty even.

As I recall, Ferguson told coach Norvell on the plane coming home that "that won't ever happen again".
