TX Tech becomes bowl eligible. Severely hampers the bowl chances of certain 6-6 teams like us. TX gives away game with 4 2nd half turnovers. TX's QB plays terrible and gives game away with poor decision leading to a pick with under 2 minutes to play. The more football I watch, the more I realize how important QB play is to a team's success. Guess I should've learned that by now. TX coach Tom Herman severely overrated as a so called "offensive genius".

QBs are COACHED. They don't fall off the tree and are either great, horrible, or something in between. And what the coach does in terms of decisions both before and during the game has much to do with how the QB will look and perform. Lester and his staff have had a year to coach these QBs. Neither QB really ever looked good this season.

Until he was injured Wassink looked to be progressing BETTER than Zach Terrell at the same level of experience. I really think Wassink is going to be one of our better QB's at Western before he graduates. He shows all the skills.

Once again you are comparing Wassink 2017 to Terrell 2016. Apples and Oranges.
