Curious about our board's confidence about planning for January. What if any hotel/stay/flight plans have you made for the weekend of January 6th?
I booked 2 rooms and car because it costs nothing to do so, and I can always cancel. Wanted to be sure to get a room in walking distance to the Legacy.
JMUDegen has half of Frisco booked up. It is a total freeroll obviously, if they make it great, if not no biggie. He's been booking even when you were terrible :-).
I’ve already booked a hotel room and car rental. I was able to get a much closer hotel for maybe $3 more a night than I paid last year for an airport hotel. I was happy about that.
I’m waiting on plane flights since those aren’t refundable. I also don’t have tickets yet.
Hotel booked. Just waiting on official before flight
I'll probably book a hotel this week then wait on flights and a car until the semi's. I'd like to get a hotel in Frisco, so I may be on the look out as we get closer to see if anyone has dropped their reservations.
Tickets to the game will be the hardest part of the equation for this trip.

The good news is the endzone seating is nearly complete this year, and it seems likely those seats (roughly 4-5,000) will go on sale sometime in December. They will sell out very quickly, perhaps in a few minutes or less. This happened for the “pre-sale”, demand far exceeds supply.

JMU’s block will be much smaller (~4,000) this year. You’ll need significant priority points, and they have already stated there will be some rationing.

Stubhub has seats that some agents bought up, starting around $120. Expect those prices to go way, way up. If it’s JMU vs Bison, prices will probably go north of $500/seat.

With the bracket NDSU has, buying tickets at this point is a pretty “safe investment” if you can find them.
Have tickets to the game and waiting for hotel and flight.

Ask me after SDSU.
Booked the hotel in September. Can always cancel that. Waiting on Flights for after the semis. It will be a tough road.
Have two rooms booked at this point and will worry about tickets later.
Just curious what everyone’s “how much is too much” price for tickets to the game is?
I'm not going if I can't get tickets via JMU. So I guess my answer is $1 more than what they would charge. But in fairness, I'll be shocked if that were to actually happen. So real answer, I'd be out as soon as tickets went above $100 per seat.
Flights direct from DCA to DAL are like $80 right now.

I'm kind of thinking the same thing. $100/seat may be my realistic ceiling before I start saying, okay this is starting to get ridiculous.

Looks like buying in August was an incredibly intelligent insurance policy for the exact situation we find ourselves in...
