Idk if any of you watched the press conference after the game but my god sutton smith is a man.
He's constantly in the backfield.

I'm glad Huff said he'll be fine for next week. Hopefully that ends up being the case.

If Huff is near full strength I would love to see them batter CMU with he and Harbison all night long. I think that the two of them could wear out a defense if given the chance.

That would be lovely. We owe CMU a beat down. Hopefully our coaching staff just keeps it on the ground.

LOL, don't worry, I think that's a safe assumption. If he wouldn't get questioned about it, I am 100 percent confident Carey would be all for punting on 3rd down
Be surprised if Sutton Smith is not Defensive POY in the MAC this year.
He’s ok
Harbison is the real deal. Reminds me of Stingley.
He is the man!

They'll find a way to cheat out of the award.
He’s not only my favorite Huskie ever, but I have a weird feeling he’ll one day HC the Huskies.

While I still believe Smith is born to play DE, where he can make more use of his upper body strength as well as his speed, that fumble he returned for a touchdown made him look like he could be a darn good RB too.
What are the chances that Sutton wins the Vern Smith Leadership Award (MAC MVP)? If he ends the year as the nation's sack leader, I would have to say he deserves it.

I think it comes down to who wins the west out of Woodside and smith
My guess is it goes to Woodside. Generally will go to the best offensive player on the best team in the conference. If NIU wins the west then I think he's got a serious shot.
If Larry English was able to win it on a 2-10 team, maybe just maybe they will pick Sutton over Woodside. Woodside has been pretty dang good, though.
There’s some serious hype building around him. He’s gonna break some serious records if he keeps at this pace for the next couple years.
He should at least be a finalist for national defensive player of the year.
