Seems that over the weekend Drexel embarked on its latest fundraising campaign, looking to raise $750 million. Of note, in terms of athletics, was this photo tweeted out by the department.

Funding Priorities:
1) Vidas Athletics Compley
2) Daskalakis Athletic Center
3) Endowed Scholarships
4) Boathouse
5) Recreation
We all know the work that has been done to the DAC over the past few years. I'm interested in what, beyond the (still?) planned new entrance, remains in the offering for renovations. Endowed scholarships could be a very significant development, and is something I don't ever recall the school explicitly fundraising for. If successful, even for only a few to start off, it could allow some of the money budgeted for scholarships to be transferred to recruiting or, maybe?, providing for full cost of attendance. Color me as very cautiously optimistic pending full info of plans coming out.
