Particularly starting at 6:15, and Trump's frequent and effective use of "Whataboutism" which is rampant in today's politics.
Try this one weird trick I often employ: If a band comes to town and I don't particularly like their music, or maybe I even like their music but not their message, I do not go see that band.

So, no thanks John Oliver.

Disliking the person doesn't have any bearing on the validity of the statement they make. You think you are eschewing John Oliver on some sort of moral high ground, but you're just plugging your ears and humming allowed, chanting #MAGA #MAGA #MAGA

The idea that a video from a later night comedian somehow stands in the way of reforming our country is absurd.
LOL, not clicking on that fake news soy boy.
Didnt John Oliver want Trump to run? Why, yes he did. Sometimes, you need to be careful of what you wish for.

Did he ever write that check? Or is he like the typical alt-leftist where just virtue signaling that he donated did more for him personally (it's why they do it) than actually doing so.
This was by far the most complete analysis of the harm trump and his evil band of miscreants, trolls and state media are doing to this country...including several posters on this board...that I've seen to date. It was epic and brilliant.

I wouldn't want to watch it either if I were some of you. It's not easy be convicted...especially by a British pipsqueak.

03-rotfl

But anyway...watch it...and do it honestly. I dare you.
Imagine getting your news from an actor playing a comedian playing a news man reading a teleprompter.

Imagine realizing an actor playing a comedian playing a news man reading a teleprompter is smarter than you or your president.

Again don't watch it. It exposes you for who you are and what you're doing. I'll even give you the benefit of the doubt that you don't even know you're doing it. 03-wink
With each and every post from you guys in this thread, you're doing exactly what he says you're doing in the video you refuse to watch.

The “conversation” is always defined by the left, just like this video from Oliver. Which means it’s never a conversation, it's a lecture. And it's always a lecture that ignores the same things the left did as they accuse the right.

The left has to use comedians to spread their message because comedians are typically the best at telling jokes.

Did you watch it yet?
Remember when everyone was in on the joke when it came to those that took oliver, colbert, mahr, etc. seriously when it came to political analysis?

Now they take pride in it. Wow. The soy is seriously getting to you, alt-leftists.
