DOOKie V already called it...

Jeezus we weren’t far off. Duke ahead of us according to the committee

I would feel a whole better if our SOS was better. Hopefully our coming games will show we are as good as rated.

For the MSU/Mizz call, I really believe they need to institute a foul or a technical on a player who intentionally flops, refs are way too gullible for falling for these poor acting jobs, we've seen it with Cumberland all year. As for the Xavier call, I hate how an offensive player can be rewarded for initiating the contact. Goodin invaded that defenders space and he went straight up and blocked the shot, which he should, being 5 or 6 inches taller.

I don't know what the solution is right now. Basketball is probably the hardest game to officiate in my opinion. The new rules are geared towards refs being whistle haooy, so it looks like it will just get worse.
There were 2 defenders there. The one that blocked the shot wasn't called for the foul. The block was clean but the 2nd defender leaned in causing the foul. I didn't think it was a foul.

UCF 68 Memphis 64
Memphis is in a full on free fall as a program.

If only they didn't sign Tubby up for 3 mil per year. They are screwed. They really need to cut there losses, and probably hire Penny and have him bring James Wiseman with him.
Houston-Tulane playing right now. Houston is definately a step up offensively compared to some of the other teams in the league we have played. They will get some points, even against are tough defense. We are going to need to shoot a little better to guarentee a W against the Coogs.
Wondering why UH/Tulane are playing at Texas Southern.
UH is redoing its arena, too.

How many schollies are Tulane short?

There have been successive renderings and concepts over the years... Sadly they have been redone as budgets have shrunk.

I'm not a big fan of Hofheinz's layout. It was a concept that was really popular back in the 70's with a low-ceiling and sunken seating. The last rendering I saw left pretty much everything in the basic building layout unchanged and was more a comprehensive renewal as opposed to a substantial renovation. Doubtless it will be better than it was, but it will be the same basic building and layout. (As opposed to 5/3 which will be a completely new building inside the shell of the old.)

Still, happy for Houston to be moving on this after years of pining to do something.

Chris Mack even basically said that was an awful foul call but credited his guy for being aggressive and making the foul shots. Not sure there is a bigger x apologist than this guy.
Our win against Houston is now a quadrant one win.
So, I'm surprised nobody has invoked the first "Sample Bracket" that got laid out by the NCAA selection committee today... UC is penned in as a "2 Seed" at #8 overall, in the South Region...

He's a Xavier fan. Only posts to subtly trash UC/defend Xavier.

Probably because there is an entire topic on that subject.
