Every other nominee is an individual, but they nominated our entire program. Pretty cool.

We should get a solid amount of national attention during the bowl season. We'll play in a bowl, Shaq Jones will be honored at halftime of the Sugar Bowl, and now UAB's a finalist to be honored at halftime of the Orange Bowl.

Now if we can win our last 3 (4 with a CUSA championship) and get an Orange Bowl invite, this would complete the dream.

Man it's awesome to be nominated for this, but, after reading all of the stories of the current nominees, I'd be shocked if this award doesn't go to the blind long snapper from USC.
