UNCW will have a new radio home for the next 2 years with Sunrise Broadcasting on 95.9 FM and 99.9 HD 3 if you have an HD radio. All of men's basketball and baseball plus CAA conference women's games (and the ECU game) will be broadcast. CAA.TV will still have audio for those outside the broadcast area. Monday's with McGrath will be broadcast on delay at 7 PM. Facebook Live will have exclusive live broadcast.

Nice that UNCW will be on a sports station, instead of the oldies station they were on. For those cars with HD radios, which are growing in number, they have a range throughout much of southeast North Carolina. Inside the red territory, and perhaps beyond, you will be able to hear the games.

It's something to think about a mid-major getting a weekly broadcast TV show. I don't think a New York City broadcast station would give Hofstra that if they had an average attendance of 10,000 (which is impossible given the about 5,000 capacity of the Mack Sports Complex).

one of the benefits of a mid sized city like Wilmington and being the "only show in town". People want to and are interested in seeing it. Honestly, i'm not even a grad(my wife is) but when i moved to Wilmington back in 2000, being a huge sports fan i got sucked in by the atmosphere at Trask and the rest is history.
