Thoughts?
Better than 8 pm
At least its a Saturday
As was posted in another thread, I hope the weather cooperates. I'd love to see our program get to a point where 40K+ show up rain, shine, cold, snow, etc.
We've got an excellent record of late playing at home on Saturday mornings.

good post
2:30 would have been ideal. 11am ruins the tailgating experience.
There is no reason for another 11 AM home game. Works for the TV boys but late afternoon and early evening games work best here....when it's not ridiculously hot or raining. As far as you rain or shiners, for THIS fan loves the Tigers....I'll do the cold in the Liberty Bowl and I'll do the Cincinnati late start but the massive heat and rain are a NO GO NO MO deal now. Have done it..... can't do it anymore.
Absolutely shocked at such a ****** time and channel. I can only attribute it to noone in Texas caring enough to watch SMU play. Oh well, we have great recent history with 11am games and the latest forecast I saw showed increasing rain chances thru the day (could certainly change though.)

How so? Come down early, have few bloodys, go to the game, then catch a little FB on Tiger lane after. Can still come home, power nap, then celebrate the AAC West Title.
My daughter (8 years old) is actually pulling for an 11am game... because the Pipkin building has a breakfast buffet instead of the same BBQ they've been giving us for years. Plus, 11am is good for a cold day.
What channel ?????????
Wolo said ESPNNews, I think.

ESPNews, but I've heard the game is great on the big screen AT THE STADIUM. You should seriously attend this one in person if at all possible.
Yes, it's an early game but look on the bright side: it's on the ESPN family of networks which means that GameDay will most likely have a segment on the matchup and the game will probably be one of their game day picks. Exposure on GameDay is always a good thing.
No matchups between ranked teams on that Saturday. Alabama is playing Mercer, Clemson is playing The Citadel, Georgia playing Kentucky, Oklahoma playing Kansas. The Tigers-SMU game may be the best matchup on that day.
