while we’re talking turnovers: ball carriers need to hold on tight to the ball which will be slick. i’m thinking of two ball carriers who shall not be named and have had issues with fumbling.

Xavier Goodall cannot be this good. i don’t even recognize this Nova defense i’m watching. i don’t know what the issue is, but i just refuse to believe we’re going to get pushed around like VU.

edit: on the very next play, Lauletta just FLATTENS a Nova LB on a run, it takes two other guys to bring him down. this is not Roethlisberger we’re talking about. i have my diagnosis for this game: Nova really doesn’t seem interested in competing.

Dukes compete. Always.

Right now the line is JMU -19, Over/Under 59.5

I'm going JMU covers, Under:
JMU 38, RU 17..
Dawgs win, 38-10.

Richmond can be tough when they are on their game. Like Elon, they have had a lot of close games. But unlike Elon, they have lost most of them, including taking Delaware to two OTs before the Chickens finally beat them. And, of course, Delaware has been our closest game to date. They lost to both Elon and Stony Brook by a field goal. So, they can play.

Where the Ticks are going to have trouble today is dealing with the best defense they have seen this year. Their running game will be non-existent, making them a one-dimensional passing team, and I'm sure Coach Houston has designed his gameplan with that in mind.

From the smidgen of that game I watched, VU really looked like a team going through the motions and not bothering anymore. That's why UR's 22-0 shut out is deceptive. That wasn't the same fight that we got from VU when we played them. Not even close.
Now THIS is football weather. Sunny and below freezing here in Richmond. Stomping boots have been laced up and we are heading out. Go Dukes!
IT'S GAME DAY!!

LAST REGULAR SEASON GAME AT BFS!

SENIOR DAY!

ONLY 3 HOME GAMES LEFT THIS SEASON!!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKES!

I meant after today. Hence, why I mentioned today is the last regular season home game + only 3 home games left (after that).

no question. remember how deceptive VU’s 31-0 (i think) win over Maine was, the week before we played them? it was super flukey for a few reasons. i’m hoping this is more of the same. you’re right, VU was absolutely going through the motions last week.

Now back to spider smack.

That bar/food court with the smoking deck is great. Cheap, cold beer, and a duty-free the size of Shenandoah airport.
Further confirmation of VU’s performance against UR last week. They’re currently trailing URI 10-3 at the half.

Pathetic to throw in 3&1
Madizone or whatever it’s called now almost looks like a real broadcast. They’ve come a long way.
Gus Little out again today? Wasn’t in on 1st defensive series and don’t see him on sideline..

Edit see him on sideline..
This offense is no bueno.
we have to lead the country in 3 and outs
