Arguably the biggest game at Miami since they joined the ACC

True. And the way the dominated the Hokies combined with the losses by Ohio State and Penn State, I wouldn't be surprised if the Canes move up to #6 or #7 in the poll.

1/2 Georgia Alabama
3 Notre Dame

7 Miami(could easily see Miami pass TCU)
8 Wisconsin
9 Washington
10 ???(really telling spot- will it be Auburn or Ohio St)

Biggest game for Miami since they lost to Virginia Tech in Nov 2003. (final year in Big East).

This is about what I expect as well. Not that it really matters much, with showdowns between Notre Dame and Miami and Oklahoma and TCU next weekend. Two of those will advance and two will fall back anyway

Mark Richt’s evil goatee aside, I think he has worked very hard to distance this Miami team from ‘Da U’ of old

Two teams you love to hate although Miami and also BC have been punching bags in the ACC for the most part for the old Big East fans.

It will be interesting to see how much the committee punishes Ohio State for yesterday's loss.

Have you seen the "turnover chain"?

I have and it’s just as corny as the ‘Road Warrior’ shoulder pads his former team in Athens rock when they get a pick

With a home game, and with ND being favored, advantage goes to Miami. The "U" played VT with a chip on it's shoulder being rated 10, VT 13 with VT being favored by 4 pts. The same will be true against ND with the Golden Domers being favored. That works into the Canes advantage. As one who closely followed the Canes during their glory years from the late 1980's for their near 20 year run, and suffered the past 15 years, it's great to see the corny turnover chain which is gaudy and outrageous and so representative of South Florida. It's really caught on for the identity of the team. Home game, GameDay at Coral Gables, the turnover chain, 8pm prime time game, lots of hard, pre-game tailgating and boozing. If only I was younger. I'll have to settle for ABC.
Miami 31
Notre Dame 28
Miami 31
Notre Dame 28

Miami could still make the playoffs with a loss to ND. If they win the rest of their games and win the ACC sitting with just 1 loss and to a playoff bound ND team would be good enough to me for a playoff spot.

And we can also expect unforeseen wins/loses that may shuffle the final 4.
