Little over 12 hours away. Should be a cool, mid-week night, about 50 degrees.

Game is on CBS Sports Network.

As is usually the case, 2-deeps are on page 26 of the EMU game notes.

What I'll be looking to is which team can play well on such short rest. This is the game (1st mid-week game of the season) which teams wish last Saturday would have been a bye week.

Is the team healthier this week than in the past?
Less than an hour away. Time to get fired up boys. We need this win.
One quick note on Ball St, our next opponent. I peeked at their record on ESPN and saw that they haven't scored a touchdown SINCE 9/24. 3 games with a score of 3, 3, and 9. Wow.

Their injury woes have really thrown them off the rails. Last 3 games they've lost by a combined 142-15.
Back to NIU, doesn't look like their RB1 Jordan Huff will play. He's wearing a boot during warmups, throwing the football.

Are you at the game? If you are I'm wondering if any of the walking wounded are playing. Kelly? Banham?
No, unfortunately, I'm at home. Saw on Twitter.
Shep just said that Bushman is playing! Good for him.
I hate mid-week games, and this is nerdy, but I always get excited when EMU comes on TV and the CBS College Football theme plays. That sound has such positive memories for me. Makes me feel like I'm watching big time football with EMU (and we are).
Our ball first.

And Banham and Vann.

Team seems to be getting healthy.

We need Bushman's blocking. Right?
That's awesome about Buschman! Shaq and Banham are back as well.

Tiny crowd there. Hate weeknight games.
Looked like PI to me there.
Exchange punts. Lose field position. Austin Barnes is at ECU.
What will it take to for coaches to learn to not play Banham at RB? Other than CMU last year, what has he ever contributed?

but then Julien drops it inside the 5. Just wish they would stick to a gameplan with punting. Pick someone!!!
BTW, between the radio crew and the CBS SN replays, I'm getting a good lesson on missed blocks.

Porter missed one. Nielsen missed one. Bukowski missed another.

And the NIU RT (?) missed a block on Crosby.

Banham is looking good on special teams.
Good return from Banham. He is much more effective there than RB.
Defense is stout today. Keep forcing them into 3rd and longs...not impressed with the QB's arm thus far.
Going to be a long night for our offense with playcalling like that. Yuck.
We're looking at a 6-3 final score here.
