And while I forget to post a link a couple of days ago, the Rockets forgot to show up in Buffalo. Either that, or Buffalo is REALLY good. Either way, it wasn't pretty.
Nothing on the UT site yet, but here's a link to the story on the Buffalo site.

Wow. The coach needs an award for turning lemons to lemonade with his quotes. They may have swam hard, but in most every event UT came in last .... I mean the whole team came in last, with every UT swimmer finishing behind every UK and OSU swimmer. That's just .... I mean wow. Hopefully, this is just because he is still rebuilding the team.
Been awhile since our swim/dive team has been a MAC contender, hasn’t it? I would think that our facility is as nice as any others in the MAC—am I wrong?
When I was a student there we had a very competitive field hockey program. Anyone recall why it was dropped? Was it a scholarship numbers thing, where we needed to add more for women and swimming/diving allowed us to offer more schollys than field hockey?
In any case, it’s a shame; there have been some pretty good local field hockey (and lacrosse) players who have played elsewhere in college because there weren’t any local options.
