Went to the game last year and was shocked by the dangerous situation the players were put in following that game. Protesters were actually allowed to surround the field DURING THE GAME, and actually onto the field immediately following. Some of them confronted players and parents outside the locker room and had to be escorted away by police.

Looks like they found the guy:

The police actually said that the crimes, which included spray painting kkk and the n word on a campus building, had nothing to do with race. Sure.

The president went into hiding and didn't even bother attending the press conference. But he did release a statement conspicuously omitting a key piece of information about the accused.

Sometimes the less said the better.
Well, well, well. I didn't dare say anything at the time, but this is exactly what I suspected.

HuronDave, me too. I wrote Smith an email stating it was probably someone trying to generate bad exposure for EMU. I do not understand this perpetrators motivation.

I just hope this story goes away. The incident and coverage are not good for anyone, including EMU.

I believe he is a fmr. EMU student and much like workplace violence (or other things) by former workers, students, spouses/significant others, etc. they can do evil things in the name of revenge.

Just need to put it in the rear view mirror and move on.

I remind myself that all of this is what it means to live on planet earth. If anyone read police blotters from across the country (or world) they'd probably need extra strength Prozac to get through the day. Good and evil is what makes our human existence human.

World and US violence lower, and the planet cleaner, than at any time in previous history. We should all appreciate that it's the greatest time to be alive in the history of the World.

Just like the EMU story...... the internet, media, and human psychology, manipulate the facts and make people think irrationally and jump to the exact opposite conclusions.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.
