Not convinced at all on Elon. Especially with summers out
After winning a bunch of close games, Elon's luck finally runs out. Just don't think they can continue to win games like that. They're bound to drop a couple.
Villanova wins this by 10 or more points next week. Their defense will crush Elon and Elon has no defense at all.
Nova gets an extra week to game plan and get McClosky some quality time with the first team in practice.

I think Elon gets the job done. Nova can't put points on the board.
I do think Villanova has a decent shot at beating Elon if they can figure things out offensively with whoever their qb is. The bye week helps them continue to work on their offensive execution.
I think the VU defense will hold Elon to one of their lowest scores of the season, which is why VU can win with even above average offense.

Picking Nova. That QB they brought in has 2 weeks with the 1’s under his belt now.
Elon is a fraud. But Villanova doesn’t have a QB so Elon can overplay the run.
Nova probably over Elon this coming weekend. Would not be a bit surprised though if Elon won due to Nova's QB issues.

Nova by double digits. Their D will give their O good field position all day.
Villanova wins, about 24-14. They need this win badly to stay in the playoff hunt.
Elon’s resume overall is not very convincing, though they did beat Albany, a team Nova somehow lost to. If they can score 3TDs against Nova, I’ll start to believe they are a “top” CAA team.
Nova’s two other losses (us and Temple by 3) are high quality losses. Elon has yet to be tested by teams of that calliber, and just squeeked past URI.

I picked Villanova in the AGS CAA Pick 'em. I just don't think Elon will be able to score enough points. I'm giving the coaches up in Philly the benefit of the doubt with the new QB and 2 weeks to get him ready.
I thought Nova’s second half QB was pretty good. He engineered their scoring drive against us. And on their next possession, he had a drop on third down which would have given them a first down. Instead it was a 3 and out and we rolled from there.
Nova will be able to run against most teams not JMU which makes it easier for all of their short passes to work. 27-17 Nova.
