Hard to say but we will always be better than you.

We feel the same way towards Appy.

1-1. Yeah, that looks like dominance to me.

We out play everyone in the 2nd half, you did see the Idaho game. You think we scored 23 unanswered to win by Idaho shooting themselves in the foot?

Yeah, you beat a team beaten today by Missouri 68-21 today. Feel good now?
The Coastal coach gave up their chance to win when he called a pass play on fourth and one from his own 45 or so with 9 minutes to go. Bad call and just took the wind out of CCU. Then Coastal fumbled on the next series and it was all over.
A win is a win, I actually like these close lackluster performances where we play sloppy then put it together and win. Why you may ask, because it gets Troy and Ark St fans hopes up, then crushes them by the end of the fourth quarter. I hope we win every game this way, then when we are champs the real bitching will begin! One can hope we troll them to the end.

I’d argue we may not be as good as last year but we defiantly don’t suck. I think a lot of credit needs to go to our depth(but young) plus our strength and conditioning staff. Our OL isnt as strong this year but as opposing defenses wear down in 2nd half we’re still fresh and able to move the ball with the run and our offense opens up. I’d argue we have the best defense in the league and will always keep us in a game, especially with the ability to create TOs. Would like to get our RBs healthy.
Would like to see us put together a complete game cause it’ll come back to bite us at some point this year. Probably in the bowl game.

03-nutkick haha... +1
App's biggest concern has to be that at some point they dig themselves too big of a hole. Probably won't be an issue in league given the fact they don't play Troy/AState/USA, but a good team is going to stop this.

Get out played and have one call not go your way and it’s the refs fault.
Look at your game thread and then complain about us complaining about refs. First couple pages just like ours.

Biggest problem is injuries, but it's giving rise to playing time for a lot of freshman. CCU picked on the middle of the field with our best coverage LB and safety out today. Williams ran well in the second half when Moore went down even with a third string LG getting reps. We need a bye week badly.

Hope we don't let the conference down next week vs UMass.
App is dealing with an insane amount of injuries right now. Every position group has a starter and/or regular backup injured.

Meadors is redshirting.
Darryton Evans hasn't played a snap this year.
Terrence Upshaw is done.
Jalin Moore went out today.
Devan Stringer missed today.
Josh Thomas missed today.
At least two OLs are out.

All the remaining RBs are freshmen.

SS Dez Franklin is also out. It's pretty impressive how good the passing game been with only 6 healthy WR's. Especially considering 2 starters are true freshmen and the top back up is a RS freshman (who had 5 catches for 186 yards and 2 TD's today). With the addition of K State transfer Cory Sutton our WR group should be outstanding next year. We just gotta find someone to throw it to them.

We have like 10 qbs fitting the prototypical build we chose (in basic terms, very much like Lamb) so I think we will be fine pretty quick

With the way the season has gone, we’ll take a moral victory when we can get it.

Legit point, but we don't play "this" way against "good" teams.

Don't know where you've been getting your information, but the reality is we have 3 scholarship QB's on the roster (2 RS Freshman & 1 true freshman) and one HS committed for 2018. I'm not real comfortable rolling into Happy Valley next Sept 1st with an untested QB. It could be mid-season before we find "the guy".

That's because you haven't played a good team since Georgia...

I'd rank them third behind ARKST and TROY.

I mean I don't think anyone could argue with that right now.

I keep waiting for this team to start firing on all cylinders because they show flashes of dominance but I just don't know if it's gonna happen. Luckily we're pulling these games out and should still finish with a good record and could win the conference, but I don't think we are as good as Troy or Arkansas State this year.

Here's the argument. App and StAte are undefeated in conference, Troy is not. When Troy faced adversity, they couldn't find a way to overcome and pick up the victory. The SBC team that beat them lost to Idaho who we found a way to beat. You all may not like the way we are winning but two factors come into play. A: We are finding a way to win. B: We still have a much easier schedule that StAte and Troy. Are you by who you think is the best team or who you think will be the best team at the end of the season per their record?

So a 1 point loss to a 4-3 WF team with a 7 point loss to FSU and 14 point losses to Clemson & Ga Tech isn't a "good" team?
Wake would be the best team stAte has played this year.

I'm still not entirely sure if Wake is actually really good, or is that more a product of how bad the ACC is?

A 7 point loss to a 2-4 Florida State team that I'm not entirely sure is going to get to 6 wins this year does not count as a "good loss" for a P5 school.
