I think we can do it. At FAU and at UTSA is gonna be tough, but I've seen the spark.

This team has something. With King at RB, the D, and Chase not turning the ball over, we could pull it off.

I'm also high on La Tech. Most of their tough games are at home, like Marshalls schedule.

Especially considering we (Marshall) haven't beaten one team with a winning record all year, and struggled against winless Charlotte and ODU.

We are just now getting into the below average (from down right atrocious) part of our pitiful schedule. Who knows how we'll fair against a close to average team.

Our "best win" is against last place AAC East division 2-5 Cincinnati. LOL

Yeah, they are six available slots. That would leave us with three team bowl eligible not bowling.

But like others have said, there may be some open spots that other conferences just can't fill.

I would normally agree with you, however at no point this season has FAU shown THIS.

It reminds me, and I know you'll appreciate this, when WKU had that 7-5 season, beating a damn good Marshall team...

Then next year go out and put together a top 25 type season.

FAU could be on that path.
