???
Were umbrellas ever allowed? Ponchos are the way to go...gold ones.
Used mine several times over the years. Maybe I was breaking the rules. Sorry!
No umbrellas.....I wonder how many folks might stay away just because of that rule......We gonna get wet
Umbrellas have been banned for years in Waldo, But that hasn't stopped people from using them whenever it rains.
Umbrellas are banned primarily because of how they will effect another patron's view of the game... and I can only agree with that policy... If its pouring rain out... well... bring a poncho.
Based on my experience with most rain games at Waldo (Toledo monsoon a few years ago) blocking patrons views has rarely been an issue as most rarely stick around in the rain. My gut tells me that will be the case tomorrow. Poncho will work as well.

A Poncho including rain pants or trash type plastic bag to cover your lap.

I would say "that's what she said", but I won't. :)

Umbrellas are banned at pretty much every stadium I have ever been to. It is pretty much standard policy everywhere and not unique to Waldo.

Yes. Who wants to be stuck behind a person with an umbrella?
I’m hoping we don’t get a lightning or severe storm delay. It would be Buffalo all over again... and I have hockey to produce as well after football. Last week I broke from Robin and joined Kory at Lawson during the 2nd intermission. Ugh.

Do you know what is the delay in time and the mileage radius from the last lightning strike, before play can be resumed?
I think 30m of no lightning is the protocol.
