And what is more painful is that TCU who sometimes finished behind 2-8 Rice team is now at #6 and are fresh off of a whole day of national TV exposure with Saturdays game day.
Like I said I earlier post, betcha powers to be wish old guys were gone.
TCU took care of business. Rice didn't. That simple.

I wonder why? No matter how horrible a program is, there is always a young coach that thinks he can fix a program-- I have not met a coach who sets out to lose games, nor have I met players who want to lose- maybe indifferent, because of constant beat downs and no change in attitude, - but no one likes losing.

The key word is BUSINESS. Across the board post SWC, we were competitive/better than TCU on the field/court. When the big WAC failed, TCU made it happen. Like Kevin Bacon in Animal House, the approach at Rice was "Remain calm, all is well" as conferences melted down around us.
