What the heck is a spiedie?

It's an Upstate NY thing started by the residents around Binghamton Area.
Pretty good history below....makes a great tailgate food since you eat it like a hot dog.

Bonus points for using Pumpkin without the word "spice" attached!
This sounds delicious. Sounds like a lot of work, but delicious.

We serve about 125 folks. Fortunately we have about 10 hardcore foodies to whip up this.
If you make it to Heinz Field next year, I'm going. Otherwise, I hope I can catch you the year after at the Dome. I'll bring plenty of booze.

Your on...btw, we have add Hoffman Coneys to the menu too...they are great to grill up if we get a rush of folks.

BTW, we are going to have our largest tailgate of the season. Looking at 150.

Pitt is on my shortlist for away games next season. It will depend on where it falls on the calendar.

We are definitely doing a roadie to WMU over Labor Day weekend. Hoping for either Pitt or Wake as the other one. Clemson is a possibility too...we have an "in" at a church for parking.
