Yep amazing. Beginning to think the primary color of our conf. mates is green.

I think he's a good QB. I would just like to see him vs some better opponents. That's not being green. Some of us do actually like to analyze the game. It's nearly unanimous that ARKST is currently #1 in the conference. You guys have the same Top Dog Bias that every fanbase gets when they win. You guys think all criticism means everyone is green with envy and hates you.

Nothing but respect for what you guys have done.

When you watch Hansen with your eyes you see he's big - looks the part of the highly recruited dual threat QB that he was. He runs effectively and works through progressions efficiently(which is because he has good protection this year). He also has a **** ton of weapons at TE/WR and Blake Anderson is really killing it with the play calling. stAte is terrible in the time of possession stat because we are explosive as hell at WR/with the bind our RPO puts defenses in.

Troy's defense might put the clamps on him, but stAte's new OL has time to continue to improve before we get to December. BTW we've already flipped the TFL against from worst 15 last year to top 10/12 this year so the OL you saw in the 35-3 loss on your home field is much, much improved this year.

If stAte can get by NMSU this week it should be smooth sailing, although USA could be a pain.

Troy is going to come to Jonesboro fired up with a point to prove. I think we should win, but it won't be easy simply because they are well aware of what we did to them last year.

Just like we don't matchup terribly well with NMSU, we do match up pretty well with Troy.

Last year was an aberration in the series as far as margin but there are plenty of examples of the anointed conference leader losing in this series.
Justice finally got some respect by winning co-Offensive POW with that average clown Lamb.
Lamb who?

Naw man. Not what I said at all. Your teams have been more than capable. Last year your defense and special teams were top notch. Offense is clicking this year, but can they do it against USA and Troy who have better defenses? It's a legitimate question. Nobody's questioning Anderson's ability to win conference games.

He could be the best QB at the moment, but is he the god-king you guys are saying he is? He looks great against some really bad teams. Curious to see how he does against USA and TROY.

Wasn't Troy ranked #25 last year when they were blown out?

You know, that QB that probably will brake the Sun Belt record for most wins all time as starting QB. The guy that doesn't put up big stats to wow you, but just leads his team to wins. The guy that broke AE Passing TD record at App while leading a run oriented offense. That guy ... not saying he's the best QB, but just saying.
I have a feeling that as soon as Justice Hansen has a really bad performance and loses a conference game, there is going to be a big piling on toward StAte fans.
Taylor is also about to break the career record for TD passes in Sun Belt history. Has five more to catch Kolton Browning of ULM and Corey Robinson of Troy.
Also #2 all time in career passing efficiency, #2 in yards per attempt, and #9 in yards total.

Also a senior. Hansen will easily surpass all those records. 05-stirthepot05-stirthepot05-stirthepot

Haven't you noticed there is always a piling on toward stAte fans. That's ok cause we still have a good time.

We are making changes to become relevant again so we can take some the weight off astate fans. Just hold on, we're coming.

Hansen will have a chance to catch Lamb next year. Not sure he will simply because he didn't start the first 3 games last year, but he's already halfway there. He's already at 21 TD passes this year, and is 5 short of setting the school record for a season.

He may not get there, but if he doesn't, it's because he'll play just 3 years here instead of 4.

Which is kind of interesting CBT. Troy fans talked all about Brandon Silvers last year. Then when he finally had a bad game and Troy lost a conference game, there wasn't much piling on.

I mean, if we happen to lose a league game this year, sure I guess you can pile on, but fortunately QB's are not judged by a single performance. Unless of course you play for Arkansas State, than you are never expected to do anything, and when you do something you get zero recognition because you were supposed to do that.

Welcome to what it meant to be a Troy fan circa 2006-2010. People change, teams change, but the the nature of how we treat winners remains.

Been a Sun Belt problem for a long time. It's just hilarious that we've won 5 league titles, and still have never at any point been picked to win the conference, then when we do win, we get shafted on a lot of conference awards because we're supposed to win.

It's basically exactly what happened to Troy during your 5 year run. The Sun Belt always has its darlings that get picked a ton to win thee league and often win big in the awards. The Florida Schools used to be those teams. ULL got the spot for a few years right after Hudspeth got here, and now it seems to be our friends in Boone that have taken over at least temporarily.

You guys have had the Sun Belt Player of the Year winner 3 of the last 6 years. What are you talking about?

Also, last year was the first time we were picked to win the conference, and we did. The other two years, we finished better than our preseason prediction. Remains to be seen this year.

Troy fans didn't create a thread about how awesome Silvers was and how everyone needed to watch and be amazed. Yeah, we all said Silvers was one of the best QB's in the Sun Belt when the topic came up, but we didn't exactly flaunt it.

I don't care one way or the other about the whole situation. I hope Hansen stays successful and keeps StAte winning.

If we don't lose again until sat nov 2, 2019 I will indeed be very happy

Perhaps that will be a game against Troy
