One thing this game did was keep the media talking about WMU between the Sister incident, the score and 7 overtime’s WMU gets a lot of mention yesterday and today.Lets Ride, Go Broncos
I think the general feeling of the incident is positive. The world is funny isn't it. Reaction can be a little plinko-ish sometime.

I think she benefits here from it feeling like a Mark Wahlburg, 1970's football flick, feel-good, before all the regulation type thing.
Can you imagine if we missed that extra point? Ernsberger would’ve been in the eternal doghouse.
Thankfully we won and we can all laugh about it now.

Just some honest emotion between a sister and her brother she may have thought the game was over and got caught up in the moment of congratulating him. I m sure he was as surprised as anyone and I’ll bet the family talked this one out when they got together. I’m guessing it won’t happen that way again!

"Back on the bus, Lester stopped by Ernsberger’s seat and asked him what it felt like to have a famous sister for the night. He just smiled and shook his head."

Quote:But sometimes, you have to know when to stop. Leipold was 27 when Buffalo-WMU began; he turned 61 at the start of the seventh overtime. His kids had grown up on the sidelines and raised kids of their own. He could see the kids of WMU coach Tim Lester, born in the midway period of the third overtime, frolicking on the other sideline. They had known only war. When Leipold’s starting quarterback died from old age during the sixth overtime, he had promised he would keep fighting. But as he saw these two sets of kids playing, never having met, he wondered: was winning worth it?

LOL!
The real problem is, what do we do to top it next game???????
