Going to update this every week... IF Say we win MAC games by an average of 17 pts??? We will be a top 20 team.

Changes to Tulsa, Akron, CMU, BG, BSU, and Ohio projected win totals.
Tulsa has turned into a dumpster fire. Now that they've started conference play, I doubt they get past 3 wins. We won't get any style points for that win, unfortunately.

Perhaps, but ESPN and Massey have predicted us winning all remaining games except WMU. They both pedict a narrow loss in that one. Not as far fetched as say EMU making it to the MACC game

I think Tulsa was still playing very effectively on offense coming into our game. I think the Rockets get the biggest share of credit for their slide since then. That emotional loss to us just seems to have taken the air right out of their football. Same thing could have happened to us with the emotional loss of Thompson, but the Rockets buckled up and found a way to win. Hope stays alive!

I am worried about ANY
Toledo can't score in red zone
Not a recipe for a championship year
Elon is 5-1, Akron changed them and WMU's win total, Miami is holding up their end of the bargain.
In a perfect world ...
1) Toledo wins out (MAC champs)
2) Elon wins out (FCS champs)
3) Miami wins out ( ACC champs - ranked top 4)
4) Nevada wins out (challenges or wins MWC)
5) Tulsa wins out (challenges or wins AAC)
Peach bowl here we come...
Realistically, I see only the possibility of scenario 1) and 3) happening...

I can see this team winning 13 games, but I don't see us being a New Year's Day bowl team. By that, I like how unselfish and resilient this team is becoming. Feels like a team and Woodside is playing very smart and understanding how to manage the injuries. yeah, the injuries...are why I can't see us in a big bowl game. We've lost our best playmaker and a gang of other contributors including some of our biggest and strongest guys (per their position). As a result, I like us in any game vs comparable talent. I'd be worried about us going up against a top 10 team with all the injuries.
With no injuries, a tad more depth and the extra year of experience for the coaches, I could see a run for a New Year's day game a possibility. Kind of rough as is to think UT is at the top of the mid-major heap.

Yep. Lot of people sharing the load. Gotta keep Woodside healthy. Apparently we have a lot of interchangeable parts elsewhere.

CMU scored in the last couple of minutes against our #2 defense or that would have been a 30-3 game...
The Eastern game was not as close as the score indicated ...Rocket touchdowns were taken off the board and missed chip shot field goals with a new holder... Not to mention the stripped ball that would have given the Rockets possession at the 20 yard line subsequently given back to EMU to keep their drive alive ...
Yep, did I mention that two of our top players were out... Yeah we are barely winning our games...
