South has zero control of their own destiny, and still has to play ULM and AState (at home) They are not favorites to win the league simply because they beat Troy.

Oh boy they still have to play ULM.

This is what stinks. Idaho found a way to come out of Mobile with a W (good for them -- not that it's that hard to do) but the refs took 21 points off the board for USA with 14 of them being completely bogus. USA should be 2-0 in conference. I don't rag on refs too much, but -- watch the tape.

Well that was certainly entertaining.

First the good news. USA led through an entire SBC game for the first time in several years. I think Davis is the QB going forward and the defense should be hopefully pumped going forward

Now for the things that need to be fixed. The offense is still pretty sluggish and our running game still needs some help. Lots of stupid penalties.

But seeing as its our only 3rd conference win in our last 13 games, we will take it. We really needed this game. Now, ULM and ULL at home and Ga State on the road. We still need all of those wins. They'll be tough to get. But if we can build on it, then just maybe, this season can be salvaged.

They did not beat the best SBC team. Might later in the season.

Gotta love college football fans. Beat a highly ranked SEC team one week and the team is awesome. Lose 11 days later to a conference rival and they are trash. Hard to win with four turnovers.

ULM is 3-0, in 1st place in the SBC, and averaging 50 points a game over those 3 conference games. You better hope you don’t get us in a bowl. Well, you guys probably would be too scared to play…again.

That was certainly an entertaining game. I thought USA's Jones was going to coach Troy right back into it. Actually a great defensive game by USA holding Troy to less than 300 yards and gaining the big turnovers.

Just goes to show that ANYTHING can happen in the Belt.....and usually does. I hope App was watching this game closely with Idaho on deck.
