Louisville is also being investigated.

Some big names in there. Louisville has become the poster child for hoops corruption.

The Rifleman was one of those arrested (Chuck Person) you would think he would have made enough money not have to do that. Great shooter saw him hit a buzzer beater for the Pacers once.

My thought exactly.
My question - will the NCAA embarrass itself once again with this investigation - rather, embarrass themselves on how they handle it with the schools involved.

I think they will take swift and harsh action. I hear that due to the SEC's involvement the MAC will be punished with the loss of two schollies per team and no post-season tournaments for three years. Seriously, the Feds are involved in a big way. When the "initial" guys come for you it's serious. FBI and DOJ usually get the guys they're after as we well know.
Looks like the Miami Hurricanes are also on the FBI's radar.

For some there's never enogh money but I suspect it's as much about the social connections...

Paying kids while in college, I get that bad. Not sure I'm really clear why the other deeds are bad. I had Profs recommend companies. I suspect most of them worked with that company in some capacity. Someone can explain this in fewer words?
And here we barely pay our kids minimum wage at UT...

payments coming in the front door anyhow. I wouldn't presume something on some scale isn't happening everywhere.
So they figgered out college BB was crooked. Who'd a thunk it?
Look out MAC fans

As Jerry Tark the Shark Tarkanian supposedly said during a similar scandal "the NCAA got so mad at Kentucky that it gave Cleveland State an extra two years of probation"

one of the best sports quotes ever, and so true about living life amongst the priviledged.
Congress is getting involved. Things will get better now.

One of Greg Walden's major contributors is Nike. Frank Pallone's money is largely Union money. You can kind of see why legislators shouldn't get involved and let the legal system handle this.
