Better than nothing. Equivalent replacement for Maine. Ill take it.

Agree - wasn't intended as a knock, but I saw it on Twitter and didn't see it here. Playing football >>>>>>>>>>>>> not playing football, and it would be darn near impossible to find a home replacement for Georgia Tech at this point.

Normally I'd knock it, but under the circumstances that would be unseemly. I'm glad UCF found a game to play. Heck, if it comes down to bowl eligibility and NCAA rules about FCS wins, I'd give them an exemption to count it.
Game on!!

Trivia: Can anyone remember the last time a team was able to add a new opponent to their schedule AFTER the season had already started?

Wow, while doing a little research, I had no clue Todd Stansbury left Oregon State as the AD after just one year and is now the AD at Georgia Tech. One would have thought that he would have been more accommodating with trying to work with UCF on a reschedule down the road. He was a very bland AD while at UCF, but he left on his own terms, so not like there were burnt bridges or anything..........
Makes sense.
Glad UCF picked up a game.

Good catch.

Also, FIU has potentially doubled booked Dec 2nd...as they added a late game vs UMASS but that game will be canceled if FIU makes it to the CUSA Championship Game, also played on Dec 2nd (which is a real, real, REAL long shot)

Wonder if this season was the most ever canceled/postponned games in college football, outside of 9/11 week?

Its pretty rare for one Hurricane (although the strongest ever from the Atlantic) can get 2 games in a row canceled for the same team (UCF lost 2 straight home games).
LOL don’t worry there is zero chance of FIU having double scheduled Dec 2

Doesn't UCF want to play them again?

We tried lol
Meh...its a game. Better than nothing
Good add. You need to get to at least 11 games. Glad for you that it was added.
Don't laugh, but Austin Peay is a much improved team. UCF should have no problem winning comfortably, but they are a far cry from the historically bad teams of years past.
I wonder if Memphis is trying to add another game? Who knows how the season will play out but I would hate to run the table and then get punished for playing one less game.
