Don't we have a few Rice folks on this board who live in Puerto Rico? Looks like tomorrow is their direct hit from Maria. I'm hoping there is a slight eastern wobble at the end and you get spared the worst (although the Virgin Islands will then get the worst of it).
Thank you Fort Bend Owl! Any nudge could help (or hurt) at this point. Viejobuho lives there, he's ready for Maria with the rest of my family. I'm been living in Miami for a while now but go to PR monthly. There are several Puerto Ricans associated with Rice and Rice athletics, everyone is very concerned. Puerto Rico is prepared, but it may get hit flush, with historic power.
I have several colleagues at BCM that are from PR. Praying for their families tonight. Ya'll stay safe.
