Got mine today also. At this VIP practice we can pick up our incentives for renewing our season tix early. The earliest renewals (I think) get a Yetti ODU insulated mug. If it was the next week you get two free Big Blue Room drink tix. The third week renewing you get invited to the VIP practice.
So apparently you can play a public exhibition against a D1 school this season so long as the proceeds go to hurricane relief efforts. Is ODU pursuing such a game?

I hadn't heard that update..I think that's awesome for teams to do. ODU does not have any openings for this current season. However, if this continues past this season I think this could be an awesome thing to pursue.

It’s an additional game that any D1 team can play regardless of what their schedule looks like now. VCU is hosting Liberty in a game that was announced recently, Kansas is playing Missouri, LSU and Tulane are playing and Memphis and Vandy are in talks. So ODU could add a D1 exhibition that’s open to the public if they desire. The only caveat is that all proceeds go to a hurricane relief effort. M
Just for fun, if you could pick one D1 team to play an exhibition who would it be? I would like to see UVa.

The invite also says something along the lines of "head over to the Mitch to grab your
reward(s)" and the (s) makes me think that it's just a phrasing thing and that we'll still get all the rewards we were promised.
Did you guys get the invite via snailmail or email? Kind of sad I haven't seen anything, I'd love to go. Renewed before the deadline for the mug!

No reason not to do this. An extra practice against a D1 team, a sneak peak at the team and money to help people. And good press too? I'd be on the phone with Hampton or ECU asap
If you renewed by the 24th you do get the Yeti and the drink tickets. Everyone that is a season ticket holder has been invited to the practice on the 27th. We sent a mailed invite out on Monday, so it should be arriving soon, if not already there. Email invite is going out today. Both invites are being sent to the mailing address and email that are listed on the season ticket account, which may not cover everyone that has seats in that account.
If you don't see the invite soon, PM me your email address and I'll send it to you. Nothing special that you need for admittance at the practice, doors open at the Ted at 5pm. You can bring guests. Practice lasts till 7pm and you can take tours of The Mitch in between. Autographs and meet and greet after practice wraps. We will have checklists of those that renewed on time for pick up of the renewal incentives.

Thanks for the clarification. The wording on the invite was a little confusing and seemed to contradict the initial announcement put out this summer.
