Another huge game for K Hunt. 101 rushing and twenty yards on receptions. He leads the league in yards by well over a hundred. Pretty amazing start!
Not watching NFL games as my protest. Then I realized, I never watched the NFL before - at least since Barry Sanders retired.

Never watched the NFL before but I'm enjoying Kareem's year. And it was the only thing on at the only bowling alley with the only restaurant in the only incorporated town in Jackson County, Colorado, so.....

BTW, what are you protesting? 03-wink

Me too. Identical situation.
Protesting.
But haven't watched since Barry Sanders retired anyways.

I once said I was a Lions fan but I later realized I was only a Barry Sanders fan!

Any of the supposed experts in the sports media who questioned Hunt's ability to play in the NFL because of "weak" competition in the MAC, should be forced to make public apologies.

Probably the same experts that questioned Michael Turner's "weak" schedule in college.

If I recall correctly, Turner had a pretty slow start to his career.

He played behind Ladanian Tomlinson in SD, but did well in his limited carries. Hardly a slow start.

right, he had a total of 439 yards rushing in his first 2 years. I guess I see that as a slow start but you don't. Doesn't matter if he was a back-up or not - I'm commenting on his start and not putting an asterisk next to it so it can be explained by some NIU fan. It was similar to the slow start Chester Taylor had with 398 yards in his first 2 years - and he was a back up to Jamal Lewis. So what.

The point is that the experts were wrong. Even in San Diego he averaged 5.5 ypc.

I've always been a Bears fan but was very disappointed when Sanders retired. He was a lot of fun to watch. If he had Dallas's O-line back then he probably would have had 20,000 yards.

Same for me regarding the NFL... love college football, pros not so much. But it has been fun watching the Kareem story.
