well....guess can get a medical red shirt at least.

I didn't see one when I initially read it. He hasn't played yet this year though. I guess some injury from camp. I'm sure an official story will come out in a few days.

I could be wrong, but I think he played as a true freshman. I don't think he needs a "medical" redshirt. He hasn't played at all in the first 2 games so I think he can just take a regular redshirt - as long as the coaches don't let him get in a game the rest of the year..

He was in a walking boot for game one and cowboy boots for game two. He wanted to play but it seems he just wasn't healthy enough. Must be a high ankle sprain to call the season so early. He's a great kid and player. I hate it for him but it will help us next year with all the graduations.

This will be good for next year's team to have his experience in the secondary.
