It is my understanding he is athletic, versatile, and quick.

nice to be in the top 4, that is some tough competition.

David Nickleberry also from Orlando.

He and another 4 * target Robert Woodard of Columbus MS are both key small forward recruits....either would be a good get for Tubby....

It is good seeing us in the running for these 4 star players.

I like the fact that none of his top 4 are local schools for him. Hoping Kansas signs another 5* guard or two, maybe that would help him lean this way as well.

Self, Mike Boynton, Kevin Keatts, and Tubby ... seems like we have a legit shot here. Kansas is in on 3 other SG's ranked ahead of Jones.

Said he doesn't think Jones has a real offer from Kansas, but wants one. Also said Jones give him the impression that he, Jones, is disappointed in the schools recruiting him hardest. Wants offers from the blue bloods.

Yep. I think Esposito has these good connections in Florida, Jones is from Tampa, so maybe Espo got reassurance from a coach of Jones'.

But if they could land Woodard, wouldn't be surprised if they backed off Jones.

Seems like Keonte, Vanover, one of the wings - Woodard, Jones or Ryan Boyce - and one of the PGs - Lomax, Harris, Dosunmu - is the class they are aiming for.

That would be incredibly horrible luck if he is.

We need talent to win and if it means Tubby has to work harder and manage (like required from previous Tiger coaches) potential knuckleheads, then so be it.
