Over 1000 first responders now passed, confirmed due to the toxic environment. Didn't realize that many. Some exposed not for months after 9/11. The number will little doubt eventually surpass the number lost in the initial collapse.
I'm pretty sure everyone remembers what they were doing on this day 16 years ago. Does not seem to be that long ago.
