Leading the nation in sacks with 15 (Hawaii in 2nd with 12), and five of the top seven sack leaders in C-USA are D-line Monarchs. Think about that. Five -- from a four-man D-line.

D-Line is amazing. What a luxury being able to maintain a good pass rush with only four guys. Allows all others to go into coverage. Makes a defense almost unstoppable. Linebackers also much better than anticipated. And the back end as good as advertised. With our depth, we finally have a real defense, feels good.
Yes
D-line is quite good, playing Albany and UMass makes it look great. We'll know how good they really are next week.
What a crazy turn. We're starting to experience all facets of the game. No d air raid insane basketball games. And now transitioning into a period of stout d grind it out and hope to score offense that thrives on d giving them field position and time on the field.

Posted from mobile device. Hopefully it's coherent.
I get way more excitement from seeing the defense, and it has been that way for the past two seasons. They've proven that they can force the occasional turnover as well, which gives me another thing to anticipate. Are we still waiting on the first shutout defensive performance in program history?
