Agreed. The only way this conference wins any respect is to win these OOC games against winnable FBS opponents and not lose to FCS competition. Beating Baylor and Syracuse were two good wins, no doubt, but missed opportunities hurt more than these two wins.
Why? For the football world, FBS wins are mild surprises and will be until we more consistently do the job. But losing only reinforces the perception to Other FBS schools that we don't measure up.

That sounds just fine to me, We'll injure stockstill again lol. This was our first P5 win in 10 tries (4 were ranked) in our 7th season.

Stockstill will already be injured by the time we face you or if that even happens. We seem to have a defense now with the new DC and such and we are stopping the run very well right now. We'll see how we do vs. Minnesota next week. They may roll us but we'll see.
Congrats to both UTSA and MTSU. At least somebody in this conference still remembers how to win.
There are probably 6 or 7 teams that have a shot of making the conference championship game. This year is UTSA's best shot so far, I think. It's Sturm's last year and who knows how well the next QB up will play.
Anyone who beats Baylor is ok in my book. Good job
