Sorry to keep posting UAB threads, but wanted to share one more really cool story from this weekend. Tim Alexander was instrumental in getting our program back and promised he would get out of his wheelchair to deliver the game ball to the officials if UAB football came back. Saturday, he accomplished that goal. Truly incredible.

He was interviewed on Sportscenter yesterday morning. He's an inspiring young man.

He might be white but the white man and our entire fan base regardless of creed or color does not claim him as well. In fact if it were the Dave Chapelle racial draft he would not only not be drafted he would not be claimed as a free agent.
