Maximum possible Undefeated Teams at End of the Regular Season:
13:
There remains the potential for 2 undefeated teams in the Sun Belt, which is the only remaining conference awarding champions in the traditional manner (they start a conference championship game next year). There is one potential undefeated from the other 9 conferences and both Notre Dame and Army could finish undefeated still.

Week 1 Thoughts:
-It was nice to have college football back. Not going to add a lot here this week as literally everyone started the year undefeated (obviously).

-I was happy to see Idaho stay on the list as this will be the final year they will be on it as they are dropping down I-AA next year and playing football in the Big Sky. I’ll be making notes on them for that reason until they lose their first game.

Week 2 Thoughts:
-If I counted right, there are 26 games between 2 undefeated I-A teams next week. We get both big conference and non-conference games in this week. In conference games, USC vs. Stanford might well go a long way into showing who are the top teams in the PAC-12 (although they are in opposite divisions).

-We get possible national title contenders going at it with Clemson vs. Auburn and Ohio State vs. Oklahoma.

-We have several traditional rivalries that have ended up this week. Utah is playing at BYU. Pitt is playing Penn State. Iowa is playing at Iowa State.

-Undefeated Idaho is hosting UNLV.

Thanks for the Idaho attention.
A few teams haven't played, such as Houston. Miami and many of the Florida schools likely won'the be playing or will be playing at alternate sites.
Thanks Ohio 1317, great info and easy to read through.
