I don't know if it is a good thing to be excited if you had a double digit lead in the first half and then lost by double digits. May have had a good start, but they were beaten 24-3 in the second half. Gave up 508 yards and had only 340. NW was a 24 point favorite and won by 11, so that is a positive for sure. This will be a good test for UT.

Nevada gave up 352 passing yards to a pretty good NW QB. Woodside is probably about the same caliber of QB throwing the ball. It was also made clear that UT wants to establish a solid running game - so we'll see if they can do that against a better d-line than what Elon had - although those guys were still pretty good and had some size.

Curious how that 6-3 340 D-lineman from Picqua, Ohio (Tristen Cox) ends up at Elon and not UT.

EDIT: Nevermind - just watched his HS football recruiting video and it was not good. Looks like he has moved up his intensity and strength.
Nevada is not the worst team we have ever played. They remind of me 2012 Wyoming.
