in your opinion what did you learn about this years team from a soggy game 1?
The secondary has to improve in a hurry. The offense will score.
Our D is K-MART !
Took some big hits,, ejection and pain..
We didn't defend the pass, couldn't get off the field on 3rd down and had a ton of injuries to key players. Not a good night for the defense.
We are loaded at RB.

O line looked pretty good.

D backs are lost

Coaches seem not to have a PAT kicker they are sold on yet.
My internet service provider is unreliable.

Interneting is hard.
Other than our RBs are solid, we learned next to nothing tonight.

Unless you believe we will play multiple games in 5 inches of rain, there is simply nothing to learn.

Oh yeah, injuries suck. But, we learned that last year as well.
Ferguson has trouble throwing a wet football.
First game of the season in that kind of weather conditions makes it hard for proper scrutiny. Add to the fact that whatever can be gleaned to be glaring problems or kinks from the coaching staff perspective are usually worked on heavily going towards game 2. That's why the greatest marks of improvement are in game 2 on most teams....we shall see
That Jake Elliot has "Left the Building."

Weather was too much of a factor to speak intelligently relative to anything else.
On the bright side, we didn't show our hand too much to UCF. Except we might just break off a long run or kick return on their azz.

They won't know what to prepare for!
I learned that Henderson can run fast and intelligently.
I learned that my $100 columbia "rain jacket" isn't really rain proof.
Soaking wet and freezing.

Hopefully the close score was because of the conditions...
I assume if it was sunny that we would have ran the score up with the pass game.

UCF is next.. y'all ready?
Number 66 is huge and Riley Ferguson can't throw in the rain.
I learned that refs spot balls badly in the rain.
I need a better poncho and glad I didn't wear socks.
Please explain the gladness based on no socks.
I learned if this team doesn't get their **** together, UCF will extend the streak to ten wins.

WTS, I believe Coach Norvell will have the team ready and we will see improvements across the board and go 2-0 next week.
